How is lack of hope affecting our social environment? When we look around our country and see so much poverty and indigence, we could not help but wonder how come the majority of us were born with little hope, interest and motivation to go far in life, to take off to a higher plane, to strive for betterment and success, to create possibilities of abundance and wellbeing, and realize dreams of a secure, comfortable and fulfilling way of life.
Both research and observed experience show that instead of being born to hope and to bring about a better quality of life, a wounded inner infant has a way of sabotaging whatever spells out joy in life, wellbeing, fulfillment, satisfaction or success.
Reparenting our inner infant calls for a commitment to activate hope in ourselves and in those around us. It requires daily feeding of our infant self with the milk of acceptance, care, security, trust and support.
